Daycare and Supervision
The administration provides after-school daycare service for grades K-5. The administration also provides supervision to non-daycare registered students at all times.
Early Morning Supervision:
Students who are dropped-off on campus from 7:30 a.m. to 8:00 a.m., will be under the supervision of a Teacher’s Assistant, while both parking lots are monitored by security guards. During this time period, students must stay in the cafeteria or play in the school yard per the discretion of the yard supervisor. There is no charge for early morning supervision.
After-School Supervision:
After the last bell (3:15 p.m. for students Grades K-2 and 3:30 p.m. for students Grades 3-5) parents have 15 minutes to pick-up their children. The supervision is free of charge up to 3:45 p.m., thereafter a supervision charge will incur. Parents may choose to register their kids in the After School Daycare program. After-School Day Care: Students will have the chance to study and do homework independently under the supervision of a teacher’s aide.
Supervision from 3:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. The fee is $225 per quarter.
Late pick up - a penalty of $1.00 will be charged for each additional 5 minutes. Supervision from 3:30 p.m. 5:30 p.m. The fee is $120/month.
Late pick up after 5:30 p.m. – a penalty of $3.00 will be charged for each additional 5 minutes to cover the extended stay of the day-care personnel.
Students grades K-2 not-registered for Daycare and not picked-up on time:
3:15 p.m. – 3:30 p.m. – supervised in their classrooms until pick up time – no charge.
3:30 p.m. – 3:45 p.m. – supervised in the library – no charge.
3:45 p.m. – 5:30 p.m. – supervised in the library – $1.00 late charge for each 5 minutes starting at 3:45p.m.
After 5:30 p.m. – a penalty of $3.00 will be charged for each additional 5 minutes to cover the extended stay of the day-care personnel.
Students grades 3-5 not-registered for Daycare and not picked-up on time:
3:30 p.m. – 3:45 p.m. supervised in the library – no charge.
3:45 p.m. – 5:30 p.m. – supervised in the library – $1.00 late charge for each 5 minutes starting 3:45p.m.
Late pick-up after 5:30 p.m. – a penalty of $3.00 will be charged for each additional 5 minutes to cover the extended stay of the day-care personnel.
Siblings of Students Transported by Bus:
* K-5 siblings of bus riders must be supervised in a classroom at no charge until the bus arrives. Thereafter, there will be $1.00 late charge for each 5 minutes.
* After the bus arrives, the bus riders will be supervised in the library – $1.00 late charge for each 5 minutes
* Late pick-up after 5:30 p.m. – a penalty of $3.00 will be charged for each additional 5 minutes to cover the extended stay of the day-care personnel.
