Counseling Services
Academic guidance and counseling is provided to the students through the academic advisor, office manager and social counselor. They work closely with the teachers and students to promote and guide the students.
At each grade level in K-5, the academic advisor provides the students and the parents guidance relating to academic issues.
Academically challenged students are provided the necessary counseling to overcome their challenges.
The academic advisor also assists parents and teachers to identify students who have special educational needs and with parents’ consent refers them for a special educational evaluation.
The office manager assists parents and teachers to identify students who have social and behavioral weaknesses and assists them in resolving these issues. The academic advisor also assists parents of troubled students to find proper outside counseling.
A part time social counselor meets the students 5 hours a week to resolve issues related to bullying, emotional and psychological problems.
