Awards
Academic Awards – Grades 1-5
At the end of each semester, students from first through fifth grade are eligible to receive academic awards based on their outstanding achievements in Armenian, English, Math, Science and Social Studies.
For the first and second grades, awards are given per subject for an A+ final grade in both the first and second quarters. For third through fifth grades, awards are given per subject for an A or A+ final grade in both the first and second quarters.
Academic Awards – Grade 5
At the end of the academic year, students from fifth grade are eligible to receive academic awards based on their outstanding achievements.
President’s Award for Educational Excellence: Granted to students in Grade 5, who have maintained a G.P.A. of 3.5 or above and have obtained 85% on a standardized test in total Reading or Math.
Principal’s Award: Granted to students in Grade 5, who have maintained a GPA of 3.75 or above and who have demonstrated good citizenship.
Honor Roll: Granted to students in Grade 5, who have maintained a GPA of 3.5 to 3.75 and have demonstrated good citizenship.
Citizenship Award: Granted to students, in Grade 5, who have maintained excellent behavior in all classes throughout the year
Achievement Award: Granted to students, in Grade 5, who demonstrated academic growth or strength, excelled in athletics or showed excellence in co-curricular activities.
Perfect Attendance Award: Granted to students, in Grade 5, who have not been absent throughout the academic year.
Monetary Awards
To recognize the efforts of qualifying graduating students, the school has adopted and established the following monetary awards. The amount of the monetary awards may vary each year.
